Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, and makes no network requests to Ready2UP or any third party during normal use. Your screenshots, annotations and settings never leave your device.

Where your data lives

• Captures and edits are stored in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. You can delete them at any time from the extension's settings page.
• Preferences are stored with Chrome's local storage API on your device.
• Usage counts — how many screenshots you have taken, how many you exported, and which editing tools you have used — are kept on your device so the extension can tell a first-time visitor from a long-time user. These are plain numbers and dates. They contain no web addresses, no page titles and nothing about what you captured, they are not tied to any identifier, and they are never sent anywhere.
• Nothing is synced to a server. Uninstalling the extension removes this local data.

Permissions and why they exist

• activeTab — captures the contents of your current tab, and only after you click the extension button or press a capture shortcut.
• scripting — injects the capture script that measures the page, loads lazy content, and scrolls while capturing.
• storage — saves your own preferences locally.
• offscreen — provides a canvas context so slices can be stitched into one image and encoded as PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF.
• downloads — saves the finished screenshot to your Downloads folder when you choose to save.

The extension requests no host permissions, so Chrome never shows the warning "read and change all your data on the websites you visit".

Uninstall survey

If you uninstall, Chrome may open an optional feedback page. If you submit it, the payload contains the reason you select, any optional details you choose to write, and the extension version. Please do not include personal information. The survey is entirely voluntary.

Payments

If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record. Ready2UP never receives or stores your card details. Billing data is governed by that processor's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the date above is updated and the Chrome Web Store data disclosure is updated to match before the change ships.
