Your screenshots belong to you. This policy explains the local data the extension needs to work — and the data it never collects.

No account, analytics, telemetry, remote code or screenshot uploads.

Full Page Screenshot collects nothing. Every capture, edit and export happens locally in your browser. This website is a separate thing and it does carry advertising — see Advertising on this website.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, and makes no network requests to Ready2UP or any third party during normal use. Your screenshots, annotations and settings never leave your device.

Where your data lives

  • Captures and edits are stored in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. You can delete them at any time from the extension's settings page.
  • Preferences are stored with Chrome's local storage API on your device.
  • Usage counts — how many screenshots you have taken, how many you exported, and which editing tools you used — remain on your device so the extension can distinguish a first-time visitor from a long-time user. These are plain numbers and dates. They contain no web addresses, page titles or capture content, are not tied to an identifier, and are never sent anywhere.
  • Nothing is synced to a server. Uninstalling the extension removes this local data.

Permissions and why they exist

  • activeTab — captures the current tab, only after you click the extension button or use a capture shortcut.
  • scripting — measures the page, loads lazy content and scrolls while capturing.
  • storage — saves your preferences locally.
  • offscreen — provides a canvas context so slices can be stitched and encoded as PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF.
  • downloads — saves the finished screenshot to your Downloads folder when you choose to save it.

The extension requests no host permissions, so Chrome never shows the warning “read and change all your data on the websites you visit.”

Advertising on this website

This section is about the website, not the extension. Everything above describes the Chrome extension, which collects nothing and makes no network requests. This website is separate, and it does show advertising.

  • Google AdSense serves the ad slots on the home, support, privacy and welcome pages. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure the ads you see, including based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
  • What we receive. Ready2UP receives aggregate earnings and performance reports only. We do not receive your identity, your browsing history, or any profile Google may hold about you.
  • Opting out. You can turn off personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center, and review vendors at aboutads.info. Turning it off does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
  • Consent. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
  • Not on every page. There is no advertising on the uninstall feedback page or the error page.

None of this changes the extension. It still has no account system, no analytics and no telemetry, and your screenshots never leave your device.

Our own promotions

The extension's popup, settings, library and editor pages show one small card promoting Ready2UP's own web design service. There is no third-party ad network, no ad tracker and no remote content: the card is part of the extension package, and nothing is requested from any server to display it. No impression, click or identifier is recorded. It is never injected into the pages you visit — only the extension's own pages.

To keep the starting price sensible in each market, the card reads your device's time zone and browser language, both of which the page already has. That reading happens locally, is not stored, and is not transmitted. Choosing the card simply opens ready2up.com in a new tab, at which point that site's own policy applies.

Uninstall survey

If you uninstall, Chrome may open an optional feedback page. If you submit it, the payload contains the reason you select, any optional details you choose to write, and the extension version. Please do not include personal information. The survey is entirely voluntary.

Payments

If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record. Ready2UP never receives or stores your card details. Billing data is governed by that processor's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the date above is updated and the Chrome Web Store data disclosure is updated to match before the change ships.
